Connie Shorb’s impressive list of titles just keeps growing.
Shorb added to her collection Monday at Hanover Country Club with her ninth Women’s York County Amateur Golf Association Senior Championship.
Shorb, who plays out of Country Club of York, carded a 70 for the overall victory, winning by a 14-stroke margin over overall runner-up Diane Heilman (84) of Grandview.
Shorb has won the Senior Division nine out of the last 10 years.
Other senior gross champions were Heilman (championship flight), Donna Ensor (first flight) and Betty Winner (second flight). Net champions included Dee Forney (championship flight), Sue Joiner (first flight) and Brenda Atkinson (second flight).
In the Super Senior division, Grandview’s Sandy Spangler carded a 90 for the overall victory, three strokes over overall runner-up Elva Hess (93) of Cool Creek. Other gross winners were Hess (championship flight), Pat Lowder (first flight) and Carol Smeltzer (second flight). Net champions included Sandy Frase (championship flight), JoAnne Kuhrman (first flight) and Rose Canfield (second flight).
