The York Silver Bullets, the area’s semi-pro football team, will try to improve upon its 2-4 record and win their second game in a row when they host the Pottstown Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Small Athletic Field.
The Silver Bullets are coming off a 27-21 victory over the Pennsylvania Coal Crackers on Sept.¤9.
The Silver Bullets’ other victory was an 18-13 triumph over the South Jersey Jaguars on Aug. 12. Seven hundred fans attended that game at Small Athletic Field, according to team officials.
After Saturday’s game, they have three games remaining in the regular season — vs. the Jaguars, the Philadephia Thunder and the Lehigh Valley Steelers.
The Silver Bullets are in their inaugural season in the Colonial Football Alliance.
