Let's all cry for Jimmie Johnson

| | Comments (0)

By BRAD JENNINGS

“I have a hard time believing (Brian Vickers) was really sorry for what he has done, said Jimmie Johnson, the guy who’s demanded a thousand apologies and offered few in his Nextel Cup career. (Latest story)

Remember how many times fingers were pointed at Johnson for causing huge wrecks at Daytona and Talladega? “It wasn’t my fault was always his defense.

Now a teammate immediately admits he screwed up royally, and you question his sincerity?

What do you want, Jimmie? His trophy? His points? How about this instead — the understanding of what it feels like to be the victim of someone else’s stupidity.
