NFL radio announcers have long been known for their outlandish “homerism.

And with the advent of Sirius satellite radio, listeners can take in any team’s home broadcast.

Unfortunately, some of them make Myron Cope look impartial.

Still, one of the most annoying habits has to come from St. Louis’ duo of Steve Savard and Jim Hanifan. They often refer to Rams players by their first names only, as if they were that tight with the players. The result sounds something like this:

“Marc drops back, fakes the handoff to Steven and throws incomplete to Torry over the middle. It looked like Isaac was open down the sideline.

That's pretty unprofessional in my opinion. They have last names on their jerseys for a reason.
