Lions might not watch Dick Clark...

| | Comments (0)

The Nittany Lions won’t be doing any late-night partying on New Year’s Eve, not with an 11 a.m. kickoff the following day.

Players expect to be in their rooms by 10 p.m. and up by 6 or 7 a.m. on New Year’s Day.

“We might watch the ball fall and then, ‘Eyes closed,’ said receiver Deon Butler. “Everybody’s going to be ready to play. We know the importance of the game. We know what we have to do as athletes at this level to get ready.

“One time we might not see the ball drop on New Year’s, but that will work out for us the next day in the game.
