Shedding pounds during Florida "heat wave"

| | Comments (0)

Penn State senior offensive tackle Levi Brown said he is “losing like 10 pounds a day during Outback Bowl practices because of the recent heat wave in Tampa, Fla.

That’s a lot, even for a guy who usually weighs in at about 330.

“It’s ridiculous, Brown said. “It’s 10 pounds of water weight a day. I have to drink like 40 Gatorades every night to get my weight back up.

After a rainy, cool start to their bowl trip, the Lions have worked out in temperatures that have climbed through the 70s and into the low-80s the past few days.
