A news release from Marywood University, dated Jan. 18....
Marywood University senior guard Adam Wildasin (Hanover, PA/Delone Catholic) eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for his career when he led the Pacers with a game-high 18 points in a loss to Arcadia Thursday evening in Glenside.
Wildasin, who scored 380 points as a freshman and sophomore at Division II Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia, transferred into Marywood as a junior and promptly led the Pacers in scoring with 379 points during the 2005-06 season.
Six points shy of 1,000 entering the game against Arcadia, Wildasin eclipsed the 1,000 point mark with a 3-pointer with 7:15 to play in the first half, giving him 1,001 points for his career.
Wildasin finished the game with 1,012 points in his career and became the sixth player in Marywood men's basketball history to reach the milestone.
