Comcast to the rescue? Not quite.

Tuesday morning’s Daily Record featured a big advertisement on Page 5A that screamed, “Attention Comcast Cable Customers.

Could this be the big announcement?

Is Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia coming our way?

Guess again.

The ad reads: “On 3/2/2007, Fox Reality, the premier destination for unscripted programming — ALL REALITY, ALL THE TIME — will be added to channel 108 of your Comcast Digital lineup.

Whoop-ti-do!

As far as this viewer is concerned, the best “unscripted programming out there is still pro sports.

As a former customer of Adelphia High Speed Internet service, I was very happy. ComCast has purchased Adelphia and my monthly bill for high speed internet has increased by $13.00 a month already. Welcome aboard the ComCast money express! I have signed up with Direct Tv for their High Definition Digital Satellite TV and am verysatisfied with their service. I am going to dump ComCast internet service ASAP
