Starner shines for Lugnuts

Biglerville High School graduate Nathan Starner pitched six innings and earned a win Wednesday for the Lansing Lugnuts.

The pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays minor league Class-A affiliate gave up just one run and three hits while striking out eight and walking three in the 8-2 victory over Peoria.

Starner is 4-4 with a 4.60 ERA. He's has 54 strikouts in 47 innings this season.
