Yankees are jokers

It seems funny that the Yankees are exploring the options of getting out of Jason Giambi’s big-money contract since it is rumored that he tested positive for amphetamines.
I believe team Steinbrenner tried to do the same thing a few years ago when Giambi’s name was linked with steroid use (big shocker there).
Wow, the Yanks must be really concerned for the good of the game.
Of course, the fact that he was hitting in the low .200’s had more to do with it than the drugs. Much more.
A season with 32 home runs, followed by a season with 37 big flies did away with any contract nullification talk.
Until this season, now that Giambi is hitting just .255 with six home runs — and the team is tied for last — the talk has resurfaced with amphetamines.
Must be just a coincidence. I am sure if Giambi was hitting .300 with 15 dingers at this point they Yanks would still try to get out of that fat contract.
Yeah, right.
