Over on our message board, The Exchange, everyone is buzzing about last night’s thrilling NBA game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons. Cavaliers forward LeBron James (pictured above scoring the game-winning basket) scored 48 points, including 29 of his team’s final 30 points, to give Cleveland a 109-107 victory in double-overtime in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Auburn Hills, Mich. The Cavs took a surprising 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.
What our readers are saying on The Exchange:
dougwalters: Did anyone else see the Cavs vs. Pistons game 5 last night? WOW. Lebron James was unbelievable. I’ve never seen anyone drive to the hoop like that so many times, especially against Detroit’s defense.
The Lager Lad: That was SICK, SICK, SICK!!!! I’m not a big pro basketball guy so I have a hard time putting it in context with other moments in NBA playoff history. But as a stand alone performance, it was jaw dropping to say the least.
topspin4hand: Sometimes I forget how young Lebron is because of how often he is in the sports news … but that was one of the greatest 4th quarter performances I’ve ever seen. He was ballin’ as the kids say.

Wow Lakers trounce the Celts. 16 banners for Lakeshow! Repeat! Black Mamba 2 straight MVP!!
