The 2007 YAIAA Varsity Football season kicks off this Friday with a slate of 14 games. On the docket are the following contests:

Dallastown at Red Land, 7 p.m.
Delone Catholic at York Catholic, 7 p.m.
Kennard-Dale at Red Lion, 7 p.m.
Mount Carmel at Biglerville, 7 p.m.
Reading at William Penn, 7 p.m.
South Western at Gettysburg, 7 p.m.
Spring Grove at Susquehannock, 7 p.m.
West York at Central York, 7 p.m.
Columbia at Eastern York, 7:30 p.m.
Dover at Susquenita, 7:30 p.m.
ELCO at Hanover, 7:30 p.m.
New Oxford at Littlestown, 7:30 p.m.
Northern York at Bermudian Springs, 7:30 p.m.
York Suburban at Shippensburg, 7:30 p.m.

Two games are scheduled for Saturday:

Carson Long at York County Tech, 1 p.m.
Fairfield at Bishop Walsh, 1:30 p.m.
