Brett Heiser and the Hallam Express open the Colonial Tournament at home against Spring Grove.


Two dozen teams from York to New York are scheduled to take part in a county Labor Day weekend tradition -- the Tom Kerrigan Colonial York Baseball Tournament.

This year's tournament opens Saturday, Sept. 1, with plenty of baseball to be played before a champion is crowned Monday, Sept. 3.

Here are the first-round pairings:

Saturday, Sept. 1 at 9 a.m.

Spring Grove vs. Hallam at Hallam

Bumpy Oak vs. Staten Island at Pleasureville

Long Island Storm vs. Delran at Manchester

Gildea's Raiders vs. South Penn at Dover

Elizabethtown vs. Mount Wolf at Mount Wolf

Cly Mudcats vs. North Branch at York Township

Long Island Black Sox vs. Norristown at Stoverstown

Mount Vernon Hawks vs. Combine at Shiloh

Saturday, Sept. 1 at 11:30 a.m.

Brooklyn Mill Basin vs. Delco at Pleasureville

Glen Rock vs. Brooklyn WYD at Mount Wolf

Dependable Auto Body vs. Cecil City Braves at Shiloh

Red Lion vs. Sports Fever at Manchester
