| | Comments (0)

Max Shaull, 58, of York captured the Hanover Country Club men's championships on Sunday afternoon with a 2 and 1 victory over Alex Yalch.

In the women's final, Karen Miller notched her eighth championship with a 3 and 2 triumph over Nancy Sheppard.

Starting with J.W. Gitt in 1926, the men's tournament has produced local golfing legends such as Pee Wee Small, Karl Schoffstall, Jock Sneddon and, most recently, John Teel, who has been the leading winner since the tournament went to match play in 1984.
