From the realm of dumb remarks

Texas coach Mack Brown said the dumbest thing after the seventh Longhorn in four months found his way into troubles with the law.

Brown was skeptical about requiring football players to live on campus after their first two years and referenced his experience coaching at Tulane.

“We had all the kids live on campus when I was at Tulane and then seniors would leave (college) and not know how to get an apartment or turn on electricity or pay for cable,” the coach said.

If those kids had that much trouble doing such every day things, maybe they didn't belong in college in the first place.

Of course, if a university is graduating kids that can't do these things, there are other problems that need to be addressed.
