Dallastown High School and Shippensburg University graduate Nate Reider, who won the NCAA Division II national championship in the javelin is featured on the cover of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Strength and Conditioning journal Volume 29, Number 5.
Strength and Conditioning is the NSCA’s professional journal, which deals with athletes conditioning, training, sports medicine and science.
In May, Reider, the 2007 PSAC Track Men’s Field Athlete of the Year, captured the national title with his javelin throw of 217’-2”.
