The rock band Live will play a pre-race concert Sunday as part of the Ford 400 festivities at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida.

The band, which originated in York, is scheduled to take the Miller Lite Rock N’ Racing stage at 1:30 p.m. The Nextel Cup finale will start after 3:30 p.m. and be shown on WHTM-27 and WMAR-2.

Parts of the band’s performance could possibly be seen during the NASCAR Raceday preview show, which begins at 12:30 p.m. on Speed Channel.

“Live is looking forward to fueling the race with plenty of high-octane rock and roll,” said lead singer Ed Kowalczyk in a release. “We’re also really looking forward to meeting Ricky Bobby — shake and bake, baby!”
