St. Louis wants it both ways?

| | Comments (0)

St. Louis University men’s basketball coach Rick Majerus is under fire from the Jesuit institution for his remarks made to a television reporter regarding pro-choice and stem-cell comments.

Certainly the school officials have a right to question the coach about things that are against their faith and I am not trying to challenge either the school or coach’s core beliefs.

However, St. Louis University conveniently claimed to be a Secular institution when the school, along with the city, applied for public funding (TIF) to build an 80.5 million dollar sports arena.

Hmm ... can you say double standard?
