Former York County stars Charlie Parker and Cory Bray led Millersville to a crucial basketball victory on Wednesday night.

The 80-67 home win over Kutztown pulls the Marauders within a half-game of second place in the eastern division of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference at 7-2 (18-6 overall).

Parker, a senior from Kennard-Dale, scored 14 points and added five rebounds, five assists and four steals as Millersvilled pulled away in the second half to avenge one of their PSAC defeats.

Parker played all 40 minutes.

Bray, a freshman point guard from Red Lion, scored eight points with three steals and three rebounds. He was limited to 29 minutes because of foul trouble.

Millersville entered the game ranked third in the NCAA Division II's East Region.

The Marauders travel to East Stroudsburg on Saturday before a huge home showdown with first-place Cheyney next Wednesday.
