Central's Morrison makes U-15 pool

| | Comments (0)

Central York midfielder Casey Morrison, who you may have read about in this article, was recently named to the 2008 United States Under-15 national team pool. Along with the other 30 players selected, all born in 1993, Morrison will be preparing for the 2010 U-17 World Cup in China.

Although she plays midfielder for the Panthers, Morrison is a standout defender for the Baltimore Bays club team and has played the sweeper position during her time with the U-14 national team last year.

Morrison just returned from Costa Rica, where she competed with the U-15 Region I Olympic Development team in the Torneo Femeniono Internacional tournament. In high school competition, Central (6-2) is locked in a tight race for the Division I title against Dallastown (7-1) and Spring Grove (6-1).
