Great grapplers in Virginia Beach

Red Lion varsity wrestling coach Biff Walizer reported the following results from the National High School Wrestling Championships last weekend in Virginia Beach, Va.

1. Red Lion's Chris Albright took second place in the Senior 125-pound division. Albright dropped an 8-2 decision in the finals to four-time Florida state champion Scott Sentes.

2. Red Lion's David Quackenbos won the Freshman 189-pound national title with a fall in the finals over Jay Taylor of Florida.

3. Clay Gable of Dallastown finished in sixth place in the Junior 160-pound class.

4. Phil Sprenkle of Dallastown finished in fifth place in the Freshman 145-pound class.
