Revs go big

The Revs’ slogan this season is "Go Big or Go Home", in reference to the size in the middle of York’s lineup.
The team even has those words written in Japanese on the left field wall, in salute to import Tanaka, ironically the smallest player on the team.
That slogan also explains the 10-foot platform that public address announcer Al Rose was speaking from, as well as the huge microphone carried around by Stu Pendous, the on-field announcer.

Welcome back: Former York communications manager Andy Frankel was back in town for Tuesday's home opener.

He now holds the same position with the visiting Southern Maryland Blue Crabs after also being performing the same duties with the Lancaster Barnstormers during their inaugural season.

Revolution mascot DownTown was back, of course, arriving between the second innings, in the front seat of a tractor trailer cab in center field before getting on his 4-wheeler and trekking around the ball park.
