PSU recruit out 6-8 weeks

Linebacker Mike Yancich, one of Penn State's top high school recruits, will miss Saturday's Big 33 game against Ohio in Hersheypark Stadium with an arm injury.

He reportedly tore his bicep muscle and suffered an arm fracture during practice this past week, according to Scout.com. But he doesn't expect to need surgery.

The Trinity High graduate seems convinced that the injury will heal by the time he reports to Penn State to start his football career this summer. Preseason practice begins in August.
