Nittany Lions nearing season sellout
The Penn State home football season is nearing a complete sellout with nearly two months to go before the first game.
Tickets are already gone for three of the seven games in Beaver Stadium -- against Oregon State (Sept. 6, 3:30 p.m.), Illinois (Sept. 27, 8 p.m.) and Michigan (Oct. 18, 4:30 p.m.). Tickets are nearly gone for the Indiana game and the season-finale vs. Michigan State.
A limited number of tickets do remain for the Aug. 30 opener against Coastal Carolina and the Sept. 20 matchup with Temple, both noon starts.
Season tickets sales have now pushed above 90,000 for the third-straight year in Beaver Stadium.
Remaining single-game tickets will be sold exclusively online at www.GoPSUsports.com at 10 a.m. on July 25. Phone orders and group sales will take place only if tickets remain the morning of July 28. The numbers to call are 1-800-648-8269, weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
