Why, Wie? Why?

Michelle Wie, please prove yourself on the LPGA Tour first.

So the Women's British Open starts Thursday. It's the last major for Annika Sorenstam, who will retire at the end of the season as one of the top two female golfers ever.

But leave it to Michelle Wie to snag the spotlight, for once again doing what she does best - absolutely nothing.

Wie has decided - or mostly likely her manager parents made the decision - to skip the LPGA major to play in a PGA Tour event, the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open.

And while I supported her back at her first foray into the PGA, this is just getting old.

Let's do a quick stat check here:

LPGA victories: 0
PGA cuts made: 0
PGA victories: 0

It's time to fire your parents and focus on living up to your hype - on the right tour.
