Last week was a big week for three YAIAA alumni.

Starting close to home, Eastern York grad April McFarland scored three times and added an assist for the York College field hockey team and was named Capital Athletic Conference field hockey Player of the Week.

With the three goals, the senior is second on the Spartans' career goals list and is third in overall points.

Meanwhile at Wilson College in Chambersburg, 2008 West York graduate Eliza Decoste notched her first collegiate point, garnering an assist during Wilson's 3-1 loss to Bridgewater.

While she has appeared in all six of the Phoenix games at the forward position, Decoste is also the team's back-up goal keeper.

Last but not least, the honors keep coming for Spring Grove alum Michele King.

The University of Tennessee swimmer has been named to the 2009 USA World University Games roster and will compete next July in Belgrade, Serbia.

King was one of only 26 of the country's top swimmers named to the team.
