Quinn getting time at Penn State

| | Comments (0)

Completely recovered from knee surgery that sidelined her during her freshman season at Penn State (2006-07), Red Lion grad and all-time leading scorer Meggan Quinn has found herself a part of the regular rotation for the Lady Lions.

Quinn, shown here while playing for Red Lion, has appeared in 15 games for Penn State (7-9), starting six of them. She averaging 10.5 minutes per game, scoring 3.6 points and is shooting .339 from the floor (19-of-56). She has hit seven of her nine free throws.

In November Quinn scored a career-high 16 points during a 76-61 Lady Lion victory over Coppin State. Plus, she was also one of four Lady Lions that achieved a 3.5 or higher grade-point average for the fall semester.
