During halftime of the York College women's 72-53 win over Wesley in the Capital Athletic Conference semifinals, the Spartans' Nick Brady was honored for surpassing the 1,000 career point plateau with the York men's' team.
The junior co-captain reached the mark with a free throw in York's season-ended loss at Mary Washington in the CAC men's tournament.
Ironically, Brady told me that his 1,000th point came the exact same way as when he hit the milestone in high school at Delone Catholic -- on the back end of the 1-and-1.
Brady was presented with the game ball by men's coach Jeff Gamber.
