First of all: Three teams with the word York in its name or on its uniform in the state semifinals? I know I'm still fairly new around here, but that seems like kind of a big deal. Do I hear multiple state titles? Anybody?
Anyway, the boys rankings don't change. William Penn and York Suburban at the top in that order. There is some movement among the girls, however, although maybe not where you might expect.

Eastern York and West York still have the top two spots in the girls rankings even though they have both been eliminated from the PIAA Class AAA tournament. Both teams lost to District 12 power Archbishop Carroll, which is ranked No. 6 in the country according to ESPN.
Since both of those teams have beaten York Catholic this season (West York beat them twice) and Eastern took down Delone in the YAIAA tournament, I believe they deserve to stay at the top of the rankings. Delone does move past a Red Lion team that made a surprising run into the second round of the PIAA Class AAAA tournament because of what the Squires were able to do to reach the Class AA semifinals, including beating a top level Lancaster Mennonite team.

just like to say that my hat is off for york high they play a good game meaning they did not come apart 1 qt.2qt.3qt. but the fourth qt.some body put the gear in over drive if you were there then you know what i am talking about.going back to the central dolphin game it was like your playing yourself meaning you can beat yourself. at that game somebody was talking trash about york being over rated, i think winning games is not ratting it"s just what they put on paper. york game saturday was one that had me frozen till end of third qt. sometimes you can just feel when the wheels start to turn oh!! boy what a game i will alway remember these games.. never!!! give up, never!!give up!!!
