What Rush and Roberto Alomar have in common

Yes, the Canadian power trio and the Baltimore Orioles/Toronto Blue Jays second baseman.
Roberto Alomar was snubbed for entry in his sport’s premier Hall of Fame. He was selected for induction in the Canadian Hall of Fame on Thursday.
Rush just might be the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s biggest omission. Yes, the prog rockers who brought you the epic opus “2112″ have been snubbed just like Roberto. But they’ve been in the Canadian version since 1994.
The Baseball Hall voters needs to forgive Alomar for his spitting incident. And come on Rock and Roll Hall, can’t we look past “Roll the Bones” since “Moving Pictures” rocks so much?
Which begs a bigger question: Which “Hall of Fame” has more credibility?

One Response to What Rush and Roberto Alomar have in common

  1. Baseball. Did you think I’d say anything else?
That said, I was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this summer.
It was very impressive. But the fact that the hall of famers are presented via a music video is somewhat lame because so many musicians are listed but not shown.
At least there are plaques for every worthy man in Cooperstown.
