| | Comments (0)

Terry Wallace has been named the new boys' basketball coach at York County Tech.

Wallace was confirmed as the new coach at a school board meeting on July 22. He replaces Chris Charleston, who recently resigned.

Wallace's basketball resume features coaching stops at several different levels, including a six-year stint as girls' varsity basketball coach at Eastern York from 1982-88. Wallace most recently spent the last six seasons as the coach of York County Tech's ninth-grade boys' hoops team, and led that squad to its first winning season in school history this past year.

Wallace also has served as head coach of York Tech's softball program the last four years.

The Spartans basketball team finished 5-17 overall last season, 5-9 in YAIAA Division IV.
