So out in Utah, [a girls' basketball team recently won a game, 108-3](http://athleticbusiness.com/articles/lexisnexis.aspx?lnarticleid=1345268223&lntopicid=136030023).
That’s right. A 105-point victory.
The school that was defeated, West Ridge Academy, is “a private boarding school for children and teenagers with behavioral problems, family issues or who struggle with substance abuse.”
The winning coach from Christian Heritage said he felt benching his starters would have been more insulting to the losing team.
What do you think? Did the winning coach make the right decision?
… And in other fun national news, [a uniform spelling error didn't deter a D.C. basketball team.](http://athleticbusiness.com/editors/blog/default.aspx?id=387)

At what point does it become excessive? I think the starters should have been benched but unless the losng team asked for the game to be called early, you have to coach and play the whole game. I think it would be more insulting to be the winning team and either hold the ball or not even attempt to play the game.
Yes, it’s OK. That’s what life is like. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and sometimes you really get creamed. Learning this is part of the process of becoming an adult.
