Boy banned from field hockey team

There’s an interesting story out of New York today regarding a boy who has become too good at field hockey and is thus not allowed to play for his high school team next season.
Keeling Pilaro grew up playing the sport in Ireland and scored 10 goals with eight assists last season.
An appeals committee that upheld the ruling said it looked at only his skills — not his size or strength — when making its decision.
So, we want to know what you think. Should Pilaro be banned from playing field hockey because he is too good or has the state acted in error?

One Response to Boy banned from field hockey team

This is unfortunate and someone is being hypocritical at a boy’s expense!! Let’s give Keeling support. They allowed him to play for the last two years and now they want to take it back? How disgusting.
