Suburban’s Ted Hinnenkamp compares district titles

With a shiny gold medal around his neck from winning the District 3 Class AA boys volleyball championship, I asked York Suburban senior Ted Hinnenkamp to compare it to the district gold he won when he was a freshman on the Trojans basketball team.

“It feels great winning both,” Hinnenkamp said after Suburban knocked off Dover to win the district title. “But, I think this one is a lot more meaningful to me because I was a lot bigger part of the team for this. For the other one, I just kind of sat back and watched and got the medal, which was nice.”
