Hungerford update

Andrew Hungerford Sr., the father of Red Lion junior fullback/linebacker AJ Hungerford, who was knocked out of Friday night’s game at West York, sent along an update on AJ. He confirmed that AJ is doing better after being carted off the field on a stretcher. Lions coach Pat Conrad said Friday night the move was precautionary, as AJ raised his arm to the crowd.

The junior was diagnosed with a “slight” concussion, his father said. If all goes well, AJ expects to return to the field within a week or two.
