Meet the GameTimePA crew at the Mustang Corral on Friday

The NewsVroom is headed out on a little adventure Friday — we are traveling to the Mustang Corral to watch South Western take on Red Lion. And of course, we’ll have to navigate the Route 116 detour: Watch out for us on Menges Mill Road!

I’ll be without my NewsVroom buddy, John Clayton, but I’m hoping to find some spirited fans to join me for some fun videos … keep your eye out for the GameTimePA lady with a big green ‘G’ painted on her face.

And here’s a spirit challenge … any fan who shows up at the Corral with better face paint than mine will have a chance to win a GameTimePA t-shirt. The GTPA crew will pick the winner by the end of the third quarter and announce it on Twitter.

But before you get to the Corral, make sure to download the GameTimePA app. Not only will it win you a prize when you show it to us at the NewsVroom tent, but once the game is under way, you can use it to play Mustang Trivia for your chance to win a GameTimePA prize pack.

Here are the rules for Mustang Trivia:

There are three questions: one for the first quarter, one for the second quarter and one for halftime.

You can see all the questions now, which should give you plenty of time to find the answers.

Howeva, you can only answer them during the designated time slot. The first person to the NewsVroom tent with the correct answer is the winner.

Remember, you can only answer the first-quarter question in the first quarter. As soon as the second quarter starts, the second-quarter question is fair game, etc.

MUSTANG TRIVIA

• First-quarter question: What year did South Western first field a varsity football team?

Hint: If you check out our local history section, you’ll probably find the answer.

• Second-quarter question: The last time South Western won a Division I title was in what year?

Hint: The answer is here somewhere.

• Halftime question: South Western played in the District 3 Class AAAA title game in 2000. Which perennial power did they lose to?

Hint: Look around here for the answer.
