Social media reaction to Gettysburg’s move from Mid-Penn to YAIAA

The YAIAA’s vote Monday to accept Gettysburg as a new member starting in 2014 capped a roughly 10-day period of debate over the move:

  • Friday, Jan. 4: We found out the school board was considering a vote on the switch.
  • Monday, Jan. 7: The Gettysburg board voted unanimously to petition the YAIAA for membership.
  • Monday, Jan. 14: The YAIAA voted 21-1 to accept the Warriors.
