West York’s Czerwinski gets national attention

West York baseball coach (and athletic director) Roger Czerwinski received news this week that he was awarded the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) 2012 Coach of the Year at the state level.

Czerwinski (left) led the Bulldogs to a 24-4 overall record in 2012, a season that included the YAIAA Division II title, a third place finish in the District 3 Class AAA tournament and culminated with West York winning the PIAA AAA championship on June 15.
