The fall season is winding down, folks. We are into the YAIAA soccer tournament, the cross country meet is Tuesday, the field hockey tourney kicks off Wednesday and tennis is getting ready to crown the District 3 champs.

And don’t forget about volleyball: The league tourney starts Monday, Oct. 21 at Dallastown High School.

Before we get to this week’s poll, here’s a look back at the week:

  • Mustang seniors get a sweep on their night. South Western’s girls’ volleyball team swept Red Lion, 3-0, on senior night. “That is a wonderful feeling when your two seniors both play well on their last senior night,” South Western head coach Cathy Harman said.
  • Eagles land first division title. The Dover girls clinched the school’s first soccer crown — boys or girls — with a 4-2 win vs. Northeastern.

  • Help us cover your sport. There is an easy way to shoot video and share it with the GameTimePA audience. It’s called Tout, and you can get the easy instructions here. Be a reporter for us by shooting videos and adding hashtags. The clips your take will automatically appear on GameTimePA.

On to the voting. The AOW poll is open until 5 p.m. Monday. The winner will be announced on Twitter (@GameTimePA_SC) and will be eligible to be named the GameTimePA Athlete of the Week on Tuesday. Click here to read more about that.
