I read your year in review column this morning and was very disappointed that Central York had not been mentioned for boys soccer. Even though we had not won a district title, the boys did take the county crown and a first-time state play-off appearance. Coach Frank Lenno was the coach of the year and at least one player made their mark in attaining state all-star status for the state. Out of 290 teams in the state, Central York made it to the top 16, one of the best in the state and was consistently ranked #2 in the PIAA power rankings. It would have been nice to mention this information, I am very disappointed! !

    • Thanks for writing, and yes the Panthers’ boys soccer team indeed have a terrific season. Unfortunately because of limited space, I only listed district and state champions in my year-in-review column.
