College signing: Red Land’s Ford to Shippensburg

Red Land senior running back John Ford recently signed his National Letter of Intent with Shippensburg. Ford is Red Land’s all-time leading rusher, and selected Shippensburg over Temple, St. Francis and others.

Big 33 announces cheerleading squad

A group of YAIAA cheerleaders will raise their voices during the 2014 Big 33 Football Classic in July. In all 76, seniors were selected, including six from YAIAA schools, as announced by the Big 33 Scholarship Foundation on Tuesday.
