YAIAA girls’ basketball power rankings

In just the past week, Dover had a convincing win against YAIAA Division I leader West York to stay unbeaten. By Friday, Dover’s streak was snapped by a young Red Lion team that seems to be just getting better. Despite that first loss, those Eagles still make a strong case to be No. 1 in this week’s YAIAA power rankings. But what about Red Lion? How about Dallastown after its win against York Catholic?

Strong start for YAIAA girls translates to District 3 ratings

Dover (Class AAAA) and York Catholic (Class AA) were ranked atop each of their fields, while Susquehannock was second to Palmyra in Class AAA. The Warriors were just behind Palmyra, which beat them in last year’s district title game at Hershey’s Giant Center.
