I consider Virginia my home because that's where my family lives. I am the "middle" child of four children sometimes claimed by our parents, Sharon and Reggie Sr.
I have two sisters (my better half and almost twin, Gina, and my saucy older sister, Debbie) and had one brother (We still miss you, Reggie Jr.). My parents were crazy to have four of us (and to let us live to adulthood, especially with some of the stunts I pulled). They've been married more than 30 years.
Most importantly, I am the doting aunt of three wonderful children, Jason, 7, Aisha, 5, and Kaiya, 2.
At times, you will be subjected to cute kid stories that may have little to do with weight loss. It's because these three kids inspire me. I'm stupid in love when I'm around them, and miss them terribly when I'm away. In my work, I try to do things to make them proud of me, their aunt, the reporter.
I'm lucky in that my sister took one for the team (well, had three for the team), and in the process, gave me three children to spoil rotten. My younger sister, Gina, and I couldn't be more proud of Debbie (and her husband, Bryan) for providing our parents with grandchildren. Now, we don't have to have any children, and my parents don't feel robbed. This aunt thing really does rock.
So, you've already met Aisha, who many say looks a lot like me. Here's the baby, Kaiya, 2, who we call, "The Terror." (But you can't tell from this sweet little face.)
This photo is of my boy, Jason. He's only 7, but is already a heartbreaker. Here's him looking at me like I'm crazy for snapping his photo. He loves me, really, he does.
Tell me, who inspires you?
