So, now that I'm doing the weight loss thing, I'm trying to figure out the best way to do it.
A search online yeilded some. . . interesting. . . diet plans.
The Cabbage Soup Diet - You know, I like cabbage just as much as the next sister, but the thought of eating in a soup on this plan makes me want to vomit. Also, it looks like I'd get thin, but it's not something I could do forever, or would want to, for that matter.

The Master Cleanse Diet is another weird one. However, woman who I think are great, including Oprah and Beyonce, both have tried it. I will still have to pass on this one.

Here's a story on MSNBC about diets like the cleanse, and the risks.

In my search, I found a master list of many popular fad diets at http://www.faddiet.com
What diet plan are you on? What had worked for you in your weight loss journey?

The best way is not to diet but to start finding a way to eat lots of healthy foods. Use six or seven small meals a day instead of the norm so that you don't get hungry and binge. Lots and lots of water too girls! I started walking to work...now let's see how that works. Let's do this together and healthy!!
I know you've heard this from me before, but for everyone else who may read this, I give Weight Watchers my highest recommendation. Through that program, I lost 70 pounds in about 10 months and have kept the majority of that off for more than two years now. The program is simply based on understanding the impact of all of the foods you put in your mouth as well as getting more active. If you follow the program, it will work, guaranteed.
And Michele, I think it's so awesome that you are doing this blog!
In my weight loss journey I had to decide to do two things. Stick to a diet that worked and being patient for the results to follow. I had to remember that the weight I gained did not happen overnight. That it was going to take a solid commitment from me in order to do it. Well I started the week before Thanksgiving and as of today I have successfully lost 30 pounds. I am very proud of myself. I conquered that food demon and feel pretty good.
