Britney Spears' 16-year-old sister, Jamie Lynn Spears is preganant.

Jamie Lynn, the teen star of "Zoey 101," is pregnant by the 19-year-old man she's dating.
Yes, she's pregnant.
No, she's not 19, 20, 21, or even 18.
She's 16.
Lynn Spears, mother to both Spears girls said Jamie Lynn's pregnancy was "hard to believe," because Jamie has "always been so conscientious."
Further, the mother of the year gives the understatement of 2007, saying, " I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."
Jamie Lynn, who plays the telegenic heroine of the popular Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101," has known her boyfriend for years and began dating him in high school.
BTW - she's STILL in high school.
The couple met at church.

Is it just me, or does Jamie Lynn and Britney (and their brother) have the worst parents on the planet?

After my sister, Gina, found out about this one, she wrote, "If Britney's (and Jamie Lynn's) parents keep this up, they'll steal the parents of the year award from Michael & Dina Lohan."

Michele, I love you. Thank you writing about this. The thing is, I read somewhere that this boyfriend LIVED with her. Are you kidding me? Like the previous poster's parents, mine also did not allow me alone in the same room with a boy when I was 16. I can't wait to see Jamie Lynn with a bad weave and cheetos-stained fingers, just like her sister.

As we discussed yesterday, I hate that her parents let her get pregnant. Yes, I said 'let her.'
Anytime a parent allows their 16-year-old to run around unsupervised with their 19-YEAR-OLD boyfriend, they're taking their chances. I was NEVER allowed to so much as be in my room alone with a boy when I was 16, and I'm grateful for it.
Idiot kids.
