I went to fill up my little Honda CRV today, with gas prices at $3.85 per gallon for regular gas.
Thank goodness I shop at Giant, I thought as I unscrewed the gas cap and prepared to fill up.
Buy using your bonus card, the grocery store offers you gas points for buying groceries.
I have three bonus cards.
Anywho, I scan one of my cards and get 20 cents off each gallon, putting the price down to $3.65 a gallon.
Bonus!
That is, until I started pumping the gas.
You see, I've gotten into this bad habit of waiting until the last minute to fill up my tank.
It's not because of the gas prices. It's because I'm lazy, and the last thing I want to do is go to the gas station.
So, back to the pumps. . . I'm filling up the tank and the dollar amount keeps going up, up and up.

As it starts getting up to $35, I'm worried. Is it ever going to stop?
How much gas does this baby SUV need? (It has the same size tank as my old Volkswagen Jetta, and only gets a few miles less per gallon - I'm talking like three.)

I'm thinking I may have to take that phone sex operator job to pay for my gas . . .

Good Lord, will this madness ever end?

Then, thankfully, I hear the clunk as it finally stops guzzling up the gas.

Dizzzam!
That's a steak birthday dinner, or a new pair of shoes, or hell, the electric bill!
Again, Dizzzam!
So, I'll be driving and shopping a lot less.
Can I say it one more time?
Dizzzam!

Girl I need to get one of the Giant cards. Seriously your right this gas is off the chain. I hate to go to the pump, but I am learning to drive the speed limit and using other tools to help keep gas in my car
