It's Me or the Dog?
Have you guys ever seen this show?
It comes on Animal Planet, and basically, this English woman goes to people's home to help them do excorcisms on dogs from hell.
Some have called the dog trainer, Victoria, in a desperate state, because they no longer have control of their household. The dog is running things, acting out and being a general pain in the keister.
What!?!?!?!
I couldn't believe some of the behavior she was trying to correct. In one show, a dog would bite his owner's husband anytime he tried ot get close to his wife, and would snap at and bite visitors.
Victoria had to train this family that the dog's behavior was unacceptable.
Really? They needed a dog trainer to come over and show them this?
Why just slays me is that these folks don't realize how bad things are, then get mad at Victoria for telling them.
Here's the thing, and don't think me a hater, pets are just that - they're pets.
Now, I should probably tell you that I have two cats.
Two very spoiled cats.
However, Seven and Mo do not run my house.
Since they don't work, or clean or provide any contribution besides keeping me company, they live under the harsh rule of the dictator who makes all the money and controls everything.
That would be me.
Victoria was trying to help folks train dogs that had been pissing on everything. The dogs were house broken, but were doing the marking thing to piss off their masters.
Boy, I better not even think Mo or Seven are thinking about pissing outside that litter box, let alone on the bed.
That's a death wish right there.
Like I said, I'm not an animal hater, but I know one thing - no four-legged, furry animal is going to run my house. That's out.
They can rule in my heart, and even sleep at the foot of my bed, sometimes, but mostly, they don't get to make any key decisions.
You guys can't tell me you don't think the same thing when you see shows like this.
