So, we meet again. . .

On Tuesday, I did something I had not done in more than six months - I went to a cycling class.

I was nervous about testing my ankle out this way. I know it's been several months, but I'm still in physical therapy, and sometimes prone to toppling over when the ankle decides it does not want to cooperate.

Still, I was tired of not being able to go to the gym, so I braved an hour-long class with my gym buddy, Jen.

When we got there, we came face to face with the evil "WOO!" instructor, otherwise known as my nemesis.

I did not know evil such as hers still existed.

I had hoped the months of my absence would have willed away her pressence.

I was not that lucky.

My gym buddy and I rolled our eyes as she started the class by asking us all to scream with her.

No one even smiled.

Thank goodness. We were in class with smart people.

She seemed disappointed, but was quiet for most of our ride.

However, she could not get away from her roots as one of those screaming, annoyingly-peppy class instructors, and let out one loud yelp during class.

"I couldn't help myself," she said with a giggle.

I'm allowed to kill her now, right?

I did not kill her. My gym buddy was trying to beat me to it. She complained, not only about our instructors pep, but about the music and the routine.

We love cycling class, can you tell?

Anyway, I made it through a full 45 minutes of cycling.

My ankle is still a little sore today, but I feel really good about making this step in my recovery.

However, I plan to go to cycling at a different time to avoid any homicide charges.

YAY! I'm glad you were able to get back to the gym and do a little something with the ankle! (Even if you had a crazy cycle instructor)

See you at PT tonight perhaps?
