Do you guys remember the 44-pound cat I wrote about?
The 10-year-old cat, named Shadow, was abandoned after his owner lost her home to foreclosure.
After he became a national story, people came out in droves to offer him a new place to rest his belly, I mean, head.
The healthy guy has found a new home.
As an aside, I blame the media (smile) for the unattractive photo of the big kitty. I mean, it really is just from a bad angle.
They might as well have cut his head off, like they do when they take shots of juicy, overweight folks from behind for obesity reports.
Anywho, the cat, first dubbed as 'Princess Chunk' when it was found wandering in New Jersey, the cat's nickname was changed to 'Prince Chunk' when shelter owners discovered the fat, I mean, healthy cat is a boy.
He has a new owner, and some new-found fame.
Further proof that you can be fat, fabulous and famous.
Congrats to Prince Chunk on his success, and to his new owners for opening their home to the big guy.
