Train wrecks of 2008

This list is out, and several stars were named the "trainwrecks" of 2008.

Interestingly enough, some of our favorites, including Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan, were missing from the list.

The list also included some obvious ones, like Amy Winehouse, whose cracktastic year is one of legend, or the makings of a bad country western song.

She's a drinker, likes drugs, has a husband in jail and has had trouble with the law herself. She's been in and out of the hospital for "lung" infections (crack will do that to you), and she hasn't had any recent public performances because she looks like hell.

I was surprised that Janet Jackson made the list.

Yes, her latest albums have not made it to the "Janet" or "Rhythm Nation" fame, but she's sold more albums than most have in their entire careers.

I do, however, have to say that her canceled concert dates and downright ugly fashion choices will make you do a double take.

Gary Busey was an easy one. Anyone who has seen him in the last two decades knows he's got some serious problems.

Always helpful, and fun to watch, Dr. Drew is around to help celebrities get through their pain. He says, "Celebrities--living in the fast lane, their every move charted by hordes of paparazzi--have always been vulnerable to substance abuse. But today, it seems celebrity drug and alcohol addiction has reached epidemic proportions."

Tell me about it.

However, if they clean up, I'll have nothing to write about.

(Then again, I could go for a nice, long walk and wait for inspiration to hit me.)
